History of Rudby Hall

Formerly a royal residence for Lady Amelia Cary (the daughter of King William IV) Rudby Hall is a stunning Georgian Country House Estate, with gated entrance to ensure total privacy for the guests who hire it.  It is situated at the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Following an extensive three year period of refurbishment we opened to the general public in September 2014 as a romantic private venue  for luxury weddings and  private events  and have been working with couples and families ever since as an idyllic venue with butler style service to be enjoyed over the full weekend of several days midweek.

Testimonials

Thank you so much for making Maria & Toby's day so special. The service and food were exceptional. Their final comment was that it was way beyond their expectations of the day (which were high to start with!). The guests all said they were thoroughly spoiled - which is just what we'd hoped for! Thank you! x

Thank you for everything and making our wedding day the best day of our lives! From the moment we first stepped into Rudby Hall, we fell in love and could not have picked a more amazing venue for our special day. Sandra, you have been amazing from day one, nothing was ever too much trouble and I never had to worry about a thing. We hope to be able to come back and visit soon.

I am still basking in the aftermath of my magical 60th birthday celebrations held at Rudby Hall. It was a pleasure to deal with Sandra and Andrew leading up to the event. Along with our guests, we felt hugely looked after and very welcome. The house is grand and cosy at the same time. Quite an achievement. I would not hesitate in recommending Rudby Hall as a fabulous venue – whatever you are celebrating.

We would just like to say thank you so much for helping us make our wedding day perfect! Everybody had a fantastic weekend, it was amazing arriving the day before and settling in, having the House to ourselves and enjoying the bridal preparations. It made the experience totally stress free. On the morning of the Wedding, the bridal party was looked after fantastically which helped making things more relaxed. we would recommend Rudby Hall to anyone as it would be difficult to find a better place.
