Rudby Hall itself enjoys a history that dates back to 1838 when it was built as a royal residence for the daughter of King William IV, Lady Amelia Cary and her husband the 10th Viscount Falkland. Now a Grade II listed North Yorkshire country building, Rudby Hall is an elegant mansion/stately home that has been extensively renovated and refurbished over the course of three years, with the house being further refurbished some six months after we opened.

This means that we are able to offer first-class, private hire hospitality and luxury together with 19th century country house grandeur, all set within the panoramic landscape of the North Yorkshire Moors. This exclusive, spacious and welcoming stately home/mansion for hire is situated in one of the most scenic areas of North Yorkshire and truly feels like a home away from home, Rudby Hall offers all of its 13 large, well equipped individual on-suite bedrooms for use with bed and breakfast accommodation on an exclusive use and private hire basis only. This splendid and prestigious house can accommodate up to 34 guests whilst also providing additional on-site services to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. All of our facilities enable ease of use for guests with mobility difficulties as well as those that require disabled access.

We can accommodate up to 120 day guests and up to 150 evening guests for your wedding reception.  We can also provide additional planning and recommend certain local suppliers.

Corporate Events

For corporate meetings, conferences and company retreats, Rudby Hall provides a range of suitable facilities for use and can accommodate up to 80 delegates in our Main Meeting Room. As a prestigious, private hire house in North Yorkshire we are fortunate to be located within a short distance of the A19, which means easy access from Middlesbrough, Teesside and further afield via road, train and air links via Newcastle and Leeds-Bradford Airports. All events are on a private hire and exclusive use basis, no functions rooms but the whole estate, only one event or client at a time and with complete use of the entire house and its grounds.
