Built in 1838, this beautiful, North Yorkshire stately house was originally a royal residence for Lady Amelia Cary and her husband the 10th Viscount Falkland. This privately-owned, country home which is diligently managed by the owners, first opened as a prestigious, private hire and exclusive use venue in September 2014 following a three-year renovation and refurbishment project and has since gone from strength to strength.
As a Grade II listed country building set in the rolling North Yorkshire landscape, Rudby Hall is the perfect private hire location for all manner of events from a luxurious weekend away to a wedding, civil ceremony, family celebration and pivate and exclusive events. You decide on the guest list and you will have complete use of the entire house for as long as you desire. Once events are booked all requirements are catered for and your guests will enjoy conveniences and luxuries in a prestigious setting of 19th century country grandeur, together with an exclusive and personal service surrounded by the breath-taking beauty of North Yorkshire.
Accommodation
Rudby Hall is a prestigious, private hire North Yorkshire venue offering exclusive use services and stunning accommodation including 13 large en-suite bedrooms, with bed and breakfast available. This follows further renovation to the house just six months after we first opened, which allowed us to more than double our capacity by adding 7 newly refurbished suites. Each room has been painstakingly restored and includes a full range of amenities. This enables us to offer private hire of our luxurious accommodation to a total of 34 guests at any one time.

In addition, all of our en-suite bedrooms are fitted with under floor heating and heated towel rails. Housekeeping is carried out daily, with all rooms kept in a clean and presentable condition at all times. Our rooms are the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside through our large Georgian windows.
Weddings and Civil Ceremonies
Our Drawing Room, Entrance Hall and Ceremony Room are all licensed for wedding and civil ceremonies, and since we opened in 2015 we have been the host for many weddings and civil partnerships. Rudby Hall provides a prestigious, private hire and bespoke and exclusive use service that offers total privacy for you and your guests for several days. Rudby Hall is only ever in use for one event at a time so you are welcome to arrive the day before your celebration. We cater for both small and large gatherings with a minimum of 15 guests and a maximum of 120 guests.
The house can accommodate up to 105 day guests in the Drawing Room or 150 over two receptions rooms and a maximum of 150 evening guests for your wedding reception in total.
Corporate Events
Rudby Hall is the ideal North Yorkshire country house to use for all your conferences, meetings and prestigious corporate events. Available on a private and exclusive use basis, our luxury country house can accommodate up to 80 delegates in our main meeting room.
